No.242 - Tremendously crested French wall mirror ( see detail below ) with original rich gold leaf finish.C.1890. The glass has been replaced with expensive quality Italian `antiqued` mirror glass which looks just like mellow old real antique glass. The crest is comprised of Cupids bow and arrows , the torch of eternal devotion and the lovebirds which was a traditional decorative design on gifts and items celebrating a wedding.
